This month’s Employee Spotlight is on Jason Wyda, one of our CDL truck drivers. Jason lives in Nescopeck Township, a friendly and quiet community with good neighbors. His family includes his wife, Janine, and daughter Ava. They have a cat named Diesel and a Haflinger named Durango. Let’s get to know more about Jason.

AL: What is your favorite hobby? What do you enjoy about it?

I enjoy building things with wood and seeing the results of my work.

AL: How long have you been with Action Lift?

I have been with Action Lift for almost 11 years.

AL: Describe what your job entails.

I deliver rental equipment, including new and used sales items, and cater to our customers’ needs.

AL:  Who inspired you to pursue the career you have today?

My family inspired me to work in the job I have today.

AL: Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

I envision myself contributing to the rental department and driving the growth of our business.

AL: What is the best advice you can give someone who has just started their career?

My advice is to treat everyone the way you would want to be treated.

AL: What are the most demanding challenges you’ve had at work? How did you overcome them?

The biggest challenge is delivering items in a timely manner. Having a good team behind me helps me face the challenges with confidence.

AL:  What’s your secret talent no one knows about?

I enjoy getting creative and building things out of wood.

AL: When you are at work, how do you motivate yourself?

I like to get the ball rolling and get things out to our customers, which keeps them happy. That motivates me.

AL: Regarding successes, which accomplishments are you most proud of?

Keeping our customers supplied with equipment and earning their trust, helping out wherever I can, makes me feel proud.

AL: Tell me something about you that most people don’t know.

I have the opportunity to work with my brother, Mike, our Technical Trainer at Action Lift.

AL: What’s your favorite TV show, movie, or book, and why?

I love watching building shows, history, and cooking. They are subjects that interest me.

AL: Which of our 30 Fundamentals is your personal favorite, and why?

I don’t have a favorite fundamental. I try to use them all every day to take care of our customers and the team I have around me.
